Just a day spent in Yeppoon, a seaside town around 45 minutes from Rockhampton.  I've spent a fair bit of time here this year, its got a great vibe similar to the Sunshine Coast ten to fifteen years ago.

Yeppoon has a few decent  mountain hikes to be conquered like Mt Jim Crow, I chose to do none of them and instead take a walk up Bluff Point to try spot some turtles (I was successful, but they're camera shy).
